Right now — before any 2026 promotion has been announced — this page tells you what actually went on sale in the 2025 Black Friday cycle, which product classes rarely discount, and whether to buy now or wait for each. When deals go live in November, they will be posted here, with the date we verified them.

Black Friday 2026 falls on November 27, with Cyber Monday on November 30. In 2025 most brand-direct pickleball promotions ran from roughly November 20 through the first days of December, with several starting earlier and a few extending to the end of the year. Amazon's own October event (Prime Big Deal Days ran October 7-8 in 2025) is the other date that matters for this sport.

As of the date at the top of this page, no 2026 Black Friday pickleball promotions have been announced. Prior-generation flagship paddles: yes, reliably

The clearest pattern in the data. When a brand launches a new generation, the previous one gets cut in November. JOOLA's 2025 holiday pricing took select Pro IV paddles from $279.95 to $229.95 through the end of the year after the Pro V had launched. CRBN cut its X-Series to $160.99 from $229 while the newer Genesis was cut by far less. Gearbox took $100 off the GX2 and Pro Ultimate collections. Value and mid-tier paddles: yes, by code

Six Zero cut the Double Black Diamond 14mm by 40 percent and the 16mm and Ruby by 25 percent on its own site in 2025. Vatic Pro took the Prism to $79.99 from $99.99. Engage cut the Pursuit Pro MX by 30 percent. Paddletek cut the Bantam line by 30 percent. Ronbus, Volair, Holbrook and Diadem all ran site-wide or line-wide promotions. Almost all of these were brand-direct, with a discount code — which matters, because Amazon pricing is a separate decision made by a separate seller, and a brand-site code does not apply there.

Accessories, bags and balls: yes, and hardest

TrackitHub's 2025 roundup described accessories as the most heavily discounted category. Six Zero cut bags and backpacks by 30 percent, CRBN cut its bag range, Franklin ran a 25 percent site-wide code, and Selkirk ran an up-to-60-percent site-wide sale with bundles. If you are shopping for a bag, grips or balls for December, waiting is reasonable.

Court shoes: yes, on Amazon, by variant

This is the category where Amazon itself has discounted rather than the brand. TrackitHub listed a K-Swiss women's pickleball shoe at 42 percent off on Amazon in 2025, Pickleheads listed the K-Swiss Express Light at 20 percent off during October Prime Big Deal Days, and a DAPS 30-percent code ran on the brand site. The catch is that shoe markdowns are almost always specific sizes and colors — the deal exists on the variant that is overstocked, not the one you need. Nets and machines: some, no consistent pattern

TrackitHub listed a Dominator rolling net at $311.20 from $389 at Pickleball Central and a Franklin portable net at 20 percent off on Amazon in 2025, and ERNE ran bundle offers on its machine. We found no consistent Black Friday pattern for the ball machines we cover in the roundups we checked — we did not find a Lobster or Sports Tutor cut in the 2025 coverage, and we are not going to infer one. If you are buying a machine, buy on need, not on the calendar.

What has rarely gone on sale

Current-generation flagships.The same roundups that list deep cuts on prior generations show modest ones on the current model. TrackitHub's general observation for 2025 was that flagship models rarely discount and premium brands show modest reductions; the specific examples bear it out — CRBN's newest Genesis series was cut by 10 percent on its own site while the older X-Series was cut by roughly 30 percent, and JOOLA's deep cut was on the Pro IV, not the Pro V. If you have decided on a current flagship like the Perseus Pro V or the Ruby Pro, waiting has historically saved less than people expect.

Anything on Amazon specifically.This is the honest structural point. Most of the pickleball Black Friday activity is brand-direct with a code. Amazon runs its own markdowns on its own schedule — its October event produced real paddle deals in 2025, including CRBN's TruFoam Genesis at 20 percent off and the 3X Series at 27 percent off per Pickleheads — but it does not mirror brand-site codes. Buy now or wait for November? By product class

• Current flagship paddle you have already chosen: buy now. The historical November cut on current generations has been modest, and if it is a gift you want it in hand.
• Prior-generation flagship: wait if you can. This is the class with the most consistent late-November history. Check the brand site as well as Amazon, because the cut may be brand-direct.
• Value paddle (Vatic Pro, Ronbus, the DBD): either. Brand-direct cuts have been real, but the absolute saving on a sub-$200 paddle is tens of dollars, and Amazon may not follow. If it is needed before Thanksgiving, buy it.
• Bag: wait. Accessories have been the most reliably discounted class, and a bag is not urgent.
• Court shoes: wait only if your size is in stock in a discounted variant; otherwise buy now. Shoe deals are variant lotteries.
• Balls, grips, tape: buy when you run out. Savings are a couple of dollars.
• Eye protection: buy now. Never wait on this one.
• Ball machine or permanent net: buy on need. No consistent pattern to wait for.

How to read a pickleball deal honestly

Check the generation. A 40 percent cut on a paddle is usually a 40 percent cut on a paddle that has been replaced. Check the list price.A strike-through price on Amazon is whatever the seller declares it to be. The number that matters is what the paddle sold for last month, and for the paddles we cover the live price on the buy button has been visible on this site every day — if a "deal" is not lower than what you saw here in October, it is not a deal.

Check the bundle.Brand bundles — paddle plus bag plus bottle — were a big part of 2025's promotions and can be genuinely good value, but only if you wanted the extras. A bundle you buy for the paddle is a paddle at full price with a bag you did not choose.
