Editorial Policy

The accuracy, sourcing and correction standards every page on Drive Dink is held to.

Accuracy & sourcing

Every spec, stat and claim on Drive Dink is sourced. Paddle specifications come from the manufacturer's own documentation first; measured performance data (spin RPM, swing weight, twist weight) is cited and linked to the independent lab that measured it. Market and category claims cite a real source. Nothing ships from memory, and every guide and roundup carries a Sources block.

Our no-fabrication rule

This is the line we don't cross:

  • We never claim hands-on testing, owned units, or a lab we don't have.
  • We never invent spin numbers, swing weights, prices, or star ratings.
  • We never fabricate customer quotes or fake social proof.
  • We never present another publisher's measurement as our own.

Our editorial scores (spin, power, control, forgiveness) are clearly labeled as our judgment from compiled specs and consensus — not lab data, and never encoded as fake user ratings.

Prices & spec changes

Prices are pulled from a live Amazon feed and date-stamped; a price older than our freshness window is hidden and replaced with "check price" until it refreshes. When a manufacturer changes a paddle's spec or releases a new generation, we update the affected pages and revise the modified date.

Freshness & update cadence

  • Roundups are reviewed at least quarterly, and whenever a major new paddle launches or a covered paddle is delisted.
  • Buying guides are reviewed roughly every six months for spec/tech accuracy.
  • USAP approval status is date-stamped per paddle, because approvals and delistings change.

Corrections

We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do we fix them and note it. If you spot an error — a wrong spec, a dead link, an out-of-date recommendation — please tell usand we'll correct it. The dateModified on a page reflects real content changes, not cosmetic edits.
